KATHUA, June 8: Outplaying Kootah Royals by 4-3 in a close contest in the quarterfinals, Jasrota Warriors sealed berth in the quarterfinals of the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Football League Tournament, being organized by DFA Kathua, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at Hiranagar Stadium, here.
Thakur Ranjit Singh, Advocate was the chief guest on the occasion, who interacted with the players of both the teams.
Kanwaljeet Singh of Jasrota Warriors was the star performed, who netted 2 crucial goals and was adjudged as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by the team of Chandwan Football Club under the supervision of Sanjeev Jasrotia, while the ground maintenance was handled by Hiranagar Football Club, under the leadership of Surinder Pathania.
