JAMMU, May 11 : Jatin Wadhawan smashed power-packed 88 runs of just 57 balls to guide Ratnu Chek Cricket Club(RCCC) to a title win in Maj Pritam Singh T20 Cricket Tournament which concluded at Badhori ground, here today.
Earlier, ICC Birpur won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored a modest total of 126 runs in 19.5 overs. Rinku and Rajeev were the major contributors with 23 and 22 runs respectively. For RCCC Rohit took 4 wickets while Muzamil claimed 2.
In reply, RCCC powered by a swashbuckling knock of 88 runs, studded with 12 fours and 4 sixes by Jatin Wadhawan chased the target in 16.3 overs. Romy also contributed 14 runs to the total. For ICC, Rajeev took 3 wickets. Jatin Wadhawan was declared man of the match while Imran bagged man of the series award.
The match was officiated by Zorawer Singh and Surjeet Singh as umpires while Rohit Singh was the scorer.
On the valedictory function, Jugal Kishore Sharma, State president BJP was the chief guest who awarded the winner.
