JAMMU, Nov 5: Jayesh Singh, Jhanvi, Surbhi Charak, Megha Jain, Manandeep Singh, Ritvik Gupta, Sudikshan and Sanjay Gupta lift title in various categories of the ongoing Jammu District Open Table Tennis Championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association, which concluded at Indoor Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
While Sudikshan emerged winner in cadet boys category, Hanumant Sharma remained runners-up in this category. Megha Jain won cadet girls title, with Iknoor Kour emerging runners-up in the same. Manandeep Singh, Jhanvi and Ritvik Gupta emerged winners in sub junior boys, sub junior girls and junior boys events respectively, while Ritvik Gupta, Shreya and Manandeep Singh remained runners-up in these categories respectively.
Jhanvi won junior girls title and Sherya remained runners-up, while Jayesh won youth boys title, with Ritvik remaining runners-up.
Jayesh Singh and Surbhi Charak lifted men and women titles respectively, while Sandeep and Jhanvi remained runners-up in these categories respectively.
Sanjay Gupta emerged winner in veterans, while Jeet Raj Kalsi remained runners-up.
MLC Vijay Bakaya was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up peddlers on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Ajay Sharma, general secretary J&K Table Tennis Association, I P Singh, Satbir Singh, Rajan Sharma, Sheetal Gandotra, Narinder Singh and Satish Gupta.
