JCC members project employees’ demands

JAMMU, Jan 25:  Senior members of  Joint Consultative Committee of employees including  Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted  Employees Union and both factions of EJAC  Kashmir, unanimously decided to support the call given by JK Teachers Forum on January 30 against anti-employee attitude of the Director School Education Kashmir.
In a joint meeting of the JCC members held under the leadership of Ghulam Rasool Mir (CSNGEU), Mushtaq Ahmed Khan (EJAC-K) and Abdul Qayoom Wani (EJAC-Q) here today, the members discussed the burning issues of the Government employees and workers.  Besides discussing the issue of Teachers Forum, the members decided to hold State level meeting  for forging unity among the employees bodies and discuss pending issues of the employees and workers in first week of February.  The main issues included removal of pay anomalies and regularization of daily rated/ temporary/ need based workers.
The members also resolved to chalk further course of action if the Government failed to address the pending issues of the employees including release of  6% DA due from July 2015 in favour of Govt employees and pensioners, enhance Medical Allowance from  Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, to reduce interest rate of  PCL at par with J&K Bank employees and implement Medi-claim policy in favour of non-Gazetted employees.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Balwinder Singh, Dharminder Singh Bhargav, Ravi Singh Bhau, Ravinder Singh, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Abdul Qayoom Wani, Bashir Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed Kakroo, Bashir Ahmed, Suresh Bedi, Amrik Singh and Balbir Rahi.
