POONCH, Apr 1: A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Army was killed in a mysterious blast at a forward post in Degwar area of Poonch today.
The police sources said that JCO, S Anayaima of 2 NAGA was seriously injured in a mysterious explosion at Madan post, closer to the Line of Control (LoC) this afternoon. The JCO had arrived here recently with advance party of his unit.
With serious injuries, he was removed to Army hospital where he succumbed to injuries late this evening. His body was sent to the civil hospital for performing legal formalities by police.
