JAMMU, July 5: JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Jammu Centre today organised a seminar by J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI).
The seminar was organised to make the students aware about the various schemes initiated by the Government, which would help them to set up their own venture.
Veer Pratap Singh, was the resource person of the seminar, who appraised the students about the benefits and schemes available at the EDI.
All the students of JD Institute attended the seminar and were very happy to learn about the needful schemes for their future help.
The schemes which have been introduced to the budding designer entrepreneurs were Seed Capital Fund Scheme and Youth Start-up Loan Scheme. Both the schemes are a component of Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for youth by J&K Government. These schemes provided by the Government of India are of immense benefit for the youth of the nation.
Maansi Gupta, Centre Director JD Institute was also present on the occasion, who while speaking said that in today’s economic scenario it is very important to develop entrepreneurs who are job givers rather than building an army of job seekers.
