JAMMU, June 27: JD institute, Jammu Centre organized its 5th Annual Exhibition Fashion Fiesta-2013 and a pre-show of garments for their upcoming fashion show, here today.
On display for the exhibition were the creations of the students of interior and fashion design that they had made over the past one year.
The products on display were kurtis, suits, tops, bedcovers, bamboo table and chairs.
Also on display was the sheet work of the students and models by interior design students.
The events of the day also included a pre show of garments that the student designers have designed for their forthcoming fashion show- the annual design awards, to be held in Sri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi from July 9 to July 11, 2013.
The students created innovative and unique garments made from mobile covers, disposable glasses, surgical gloves, ear phones, computer keys etc as per the theme.
The interior design students participating in the show have created beautiful furniture from bamboo.
All these unique creations would be showcased in Delhi in a national level show to compete against the teams from other states of the Country.
Maansi Gupta, Centre Director, JD Jammu and Raman Gupta, chairman, Krishna creations JD Jammu were present on the occasion.
