SRINAGAR: Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the fidayeen attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in south Kashmir district of Pulwama in the wee hours of Sunday.
A spokesman of the Pakistan-based outfit told local media that militants of the outfit stormed into the camp at Lehtpora in Pulwama. He claimed a number of security force personnel were killed or injured.
He warned more such attack on security force installations and camps in the State.
The attack on CRPF came five days after a top commander of JeM Noor Mohammad Tantray alias Noor Trali was killed in an encounter with security forces in Samboora area of Pulwama district. (AGENCIES)
