JAMMU, Apr 18: Jenita Bhat bagged 1st place in the Swimming Competition conducted at KC Sports Club, while Anurima Sharma and Bhavya Gupta shared second and third spots respectively.
The Competition was conducted under the supervision of Swimming Coach, Babita Jamwal.
The Competition for girls’ Under-14 age category was organized at the Club and it was heartening to note that quite a few of the participants had learnt swimming recently and were eager to test their skills.
After a few heats, competitors made it to the final on the basis of time.
The final turned out to be quite exciting as the swimmers put in their best effort to outdo each other using their own swimming styles since there was no restriction of using a particular style only.
It is pertinent to mention here that the 20M long Indoor Swimming Pool of KC Sports Club is a busy place during summer and people of all ages make use of it for learning swimming, honing their skills further or just enjoying the cooling experience.
The Club organizes various swimming events from time to time to offer the members the opportunity to display their skill.
