JIAR adopts villages for health care

JAMMU, June 20: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR), Nardani, has adopted the adjoining villages of the institution i.e. Bajwan, Nardni, Thather and Kot Bhalwal for health care through yoga.
Addressing a press conference, Dr Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman, JIAR, said that the students and interns of the institution under the guidance of the yoga experts will be deputed to each house-hold of the above mentioned villages for adoption of Yoga for the health care and diseases and stress free individuals.
He informed that each adopted house-hold will be taught Pranayam, Yog Asanas for maintenance of their health through Ayurvedic principles of Swasthvritta by adopting Dincharya, Ritucharya etc.
Besides this, public will also be inspired to grow medicinal plants like Amla, Neem, Tulsi, Giloy etc, Dr Sharma stated.
