PAHALGAM, May 23: Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports (JIMWS) Pahalgam organized various adventure activities in Kashmir Tourism Festival-2013, here.
During the festival, JIMWS organized various adventure activities, trekking and environmental awareness at various tourist places including Verinag, Daksum, Kokernag, and Aharbal.
A large number of locals, rural youth, tourists and students from different schools and colleges participated in the events.
Chief Executive Officer of the respective places and Principal JIM&WS Col Virinder Singh highlighted the role the festival and apprised that Tourism will help in generating self employment and urged the youth to come forward to participate in these activities.
