J&K 80/3 in second innings against Haryana

GURGAON, Dec 12: Jammu and Kashmir were 80 for the loss of three wickets in their second innings against Haryana in the Vijay Merchant U-16 Boys Cricket Tournament, being organized by Haryana Cricket Association, under the aegis of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), here.
At stumps on day-2 today, Kanaihaya was unbeaten on 42 runs, while Raghav Sharma contributed 28 runs to the total. Skipper Abdul Samad chipped in with 11 runs. Rohilla and Anshul claimed one wicket each for Haryana.
Earlier, on day-1, J&K has scored a modest total of 116 runs in 43.5 overs. Samad scored quick-fire 51 runs off 31 balls, while Kanaihaya and Mujtaba Yousuf chipped in with 22 and 14 runs respectively. Bhuwan Rohilla was the wrecker-in-chief for Haryana, who scalped 8 important wickets, while AN Kumar claimed 2 wickets.
Haryana, in their first innings scored a formidable total of 325 runs in 103.4 overs. Sagar Dahiya was the top scorer with 63 runs, while Raj Verma hit 51 runs. For J&K, Sampark took 3 wickets, while Mujtaba and Abdul Samad bagged 2 wickets each.
Now, J&K is still 129 runs behind Haryana’s first innings score with 7 wickets in hand.
