JAMMU, Feb 13: Continu-ing its winning way, Jammu and Kashmir women team clinched one more gold and a silver medal in the ongoing All India Open National Canoe, Polo and Dragon Boat Championship at Udaipur in Rajasthan.
Today the women team clinched gold in 200 meters event taking the total tally of gold medals for State to three.
“The State team also won a silver medal in canoe polo event”, informed president Jammu and Kashmir Water Sports (Kayaking and Canoeing) Association and Member Legislative Council Firdous Tak.
32-member contingent from Jammu and Kashmir is participating in the event under JK Water Sports (Kayaking and Canoeing) Association.
The other participating teams include Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujrat, Punjab, Chandigarh, HP, MP, Bihar, Kerala, Delhi, Indian Navy, ITBP and Rajasthan.
