JAMMU, Dec 9: Minister for Industries and Commerce Surjeet Singh Slathia along with District Development Commissioner, Samba Mubarak Singh felicitated the J&K team on its return with flying colours from 7th Ash-Te-Do (Akhara) Championship 2012 held at Odisha, recently.
J&K team bagged 13 medals in the championship which included 3 gold medals also.
The team comprised of the players including Ganga Ram Sharma, Jarrawar Singh, Rahul Choudhary, Shuvam Choudhary, Navjot Singh, Mukesh Kumar Sharma, Sumeet Mansotra, Chahat Lalotra, Deepak Lalotra, Ajay Kumar Choudhary, Rajat Sharma, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Priyanshu Ghupta, Uddit Khullar, Chandanm Malviya, Rajat Slathia, Akash Slathia and Vishal Singh.
The gold medals were bagged by Rahul Choudhary, Deepak Lalotra and Bhanu Pratap Singh.
The team was accompanied by Sawan Singh as coach and Jarrawar Singh as manager.
General secretary, Ash-Te-Do Association of J&K, Seema Pawan Manhas, Technical Director, Pawan Singh and other executive members of the association were present during the felicitation function.
