J&K Assy: Govt to implement 7th Pay Commission in State from Apr 2018

JAMMU : Jammu and Kashmir Government will implement Seventh Pay Commission in the State from April next year.
“Seventh Pay Commission recommendations will be implemented in the state from April 1, 2018,” Dr Haseeb Drabu, Minister for Finance said during his Budget speech in the Legislative Assembly here this morning.
He further said that casual labourers will also be regularised in 2018.
Besides, there will be no token tax for transporters for six months. The Minister also said that the local tax and passenger tax, both will be waved off.
Dr Drabu also said that casual labourers who gave land for govt works to be regularised. (AGENCIES)
