JAMMU, Dec 3: Athletes from Jammu and Kashmir delivered an outstanding performance at the One Race Jalandhar Half Marathon, held at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar.
The event, a celebration of endurance, fitness, and community spirit, saw over 541 participants competing in various categories including 5K, 10K, and the Half Marathon (21 km).
Among the standout performances, Rayaz Ahmad clinched the 1st position in the 21 km category in his age group, finishing with an impressive time of 1:29 minutes. In the 10 km category, Amarjeet Singh secured the 1st runner-up spot with a time of 50 minutes, while Shafat Bashir finished as 2nd runner-up with a time of 44 minutes.
Other notable participants included Anisa Nabi, Manmohan Singh, Yassen Wali, Nizar Ahmad, and Aman Gupta, with Anisa Nabi leading the Jammu and Kashmir athletes.
The marathon concluded with an inspiring medal and T-shirt distribution ceremony, celebrating the achievements of all participants. The One Race Jalandhar event stood as a beacon of unity and fitness, leaving participants and spectators eager for the next edition.
