J&K bags 20 medals in International Karate C’ship

JAMMU, Feb 3: The Jammu and Kashmir team of Karate Association bagged 20 medals in the International Karate Championship 2015 held at Sujanpur in Pathankot.
The championship was organized by International Goju Ryu Karate Organization.
The J&K team participated in the competition under the supervision of Anil Nanda, chief technical director, Karate Association, while Ronika Rathore accompanied the team as coach and Anik Pal Singh as manager.
The gold medals were bagged byAtin Sandeep Wazir (G D Goenka), Dhairya Gupta (Roots Montessorie), Prajin Chopra (Heritage School) Soham Kalsotra (Jodhamal School), Harsh Vardhan Billoria (K.C International)  and Kashish Pandita (Aglow Kids), while the students who bagged silver medals included Shouria Verdhan Billowria (K.C Public School), Shub Kumar (St. Peter School), Dhruv Mahajan (Roots Montessore), Kabeer Khullar and Sarthak Gupta (Heritage School) and the bronze medals were claimed byRehan Gupta (DPS), Bhavya Dutta (Kidzee School), Gaurik Khullar, Jagteshwar Pal Singh, Sidh Mahajan (Heritage School), Rachit Gupta (Roots Montessore), Adit Sharma (Heritage School), Mukul Palma Ganesh (Army Public School) and Ayush Abhijeet Sonawane (Jodhamal School).
