JAMMU, Dec 9: J&K Bank Academy defeated Jammu Sports by two goals to nil (2-0), while Sainik Colony Football Club held Christian Stars to (1-1) draw in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State League Football Tournament at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match, Sainik Colony FC held Christian Star to (1-1) draw. Ishaaan Verma scored the goal for Sainik Colony in 10th minute, while Aman netted the goal for Christian Star in 50th minute of the match. Ishaan Verma was adjudged as the man of the match.
In another match, J&K Bank Academy defeated Jammu Sports by two goals to nil (2-0). The goal scorers were Rajan Singh and Ankit Mahajan, who netted the goals in 35th and 50th minutes respectively. Nikhil Mehta was declared as the man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Rocky, Romesh, Rakesh, Vijay, Sanjay Kumar, Dil Bahadur and Ricky.
