SRINAGAR, Oct 23: In connection with the platinum jubilee celebrations, the J&K Bank organized special meeting with the well-known personalities, senior citizens, representatives of trade bodies, local businessmen and valued customers at Tourist Reception Centre, Kargil in Ladakh region today.
Executive Councillors, LAHDC Kargil Sheikh Hussain Rayeesi , Haji Mohd Shafi, Addl DC Ahsan Khan, SP Kargil Sunit Kumar were among noted personalities attending the ceremony. Executive President of the Bank Abdul Hamid Bandey was the chief guest on the occasion. Led by Executive President, the bank team comprising of President Mohd Sayed Wani, Zonal Head Mohd Yunis Pattoo, Cluster Head Tasaduq Ahmed and other officers held a special interactive session with the distinguished guests.
While commending the role of J&K Bank in economic development of the State, the councilors requested the bank to open business units and commission more ATMs in the area. Mr Rayeesi while speaking said that J&K Bank’s role in the economic betterment of the area is commendable. He said there is a good scope for opening new branches and commissioning more ATMs in the area. Mr Bandey assured the guests that more ATMs will be commissioned in the area and the possibilities of opening new branches in the area will be explored. He advised the officers of the bank to work hard and raise the CD ratio in the area.
The bank also organised a painting competition and customers’ interaction in Kargil as a part of Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
