JAMMU, Dec 13: J&K Bank opened another Business Unit at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Chatha.
J&K Bank President and Zonal Head, Jammu OP Sharma inaugurated the unit in presence of Vice Chancellor SKUAST Prof D K Arora, staff, students and local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said, that for the convenience of valuable customers, the Bank has dedicated a full-fledged Business Unit in the University premises. The BU will provide state-of-the-art banking facility at the doorstep of SKUAST employees and students, he added.
He urged the university staff, students and the people of the surrounding areas to make full use of services and facilities offered by the bank like Internet Banking, ATM, Debit Cards, Credit Cards in addition to various deposit and advance products which have been tailor-made to meet the requirements of customers.
Among others present were Director Extension Education Dr KS Rissam, Dean Dr Jai Paul Sharma, Registrar Dr BB Gupta, Associate Dean Dr CS Kalha, Estates Officer Dr Deepak Khar, OSD to Vice Chancellor, Dr AS Bali, Cluster Head Vinay Sawhney, In-charge Marketing Susham Sharma, In-charge Estates SS Dutta, Executive Manager Cluster Office Jyotsna Kumar, Incharge IT, AKS Bagee, Heads BU’s RS Pura Ravi Gupta and SKUAST Chatha, Kavinder Kaur.
