VIJAYPUR, Sept 19: J&K Bank organised an awareness camp regarding Kissan Credit Cards at village Sangwal here today.
The camp was inaugurated by Bank’s president and zonal head, Jammu (Central), OP Sharma. A large number of farmers including women folk of the area attended the camp.
Welcoming the guests, Sharma, gave a detailed overview of achievements of the Bank. He apprised the farmers about benefits of Kissan Credit Card (KCC) and impressed upon them to avail the benefit of KCC and various other schemes launched by the Bank.
He also distributed 1500 KCCs among the farmers, who attended the camp.
Others present on the occasion were Cluster Head, Vinay Sawhney, Head, Marketing Department, Tara Chand, besides officials of Agriculture Department, sarpanchs and panchs.
