JAMMU, Dec 15: J&K Bank scripted win in the first semi-final by defeating Lone Star FC by 4 goals to nil in the ongoing Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament-2022, organised by All J&K Sports and Cultural Welfare Association at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
The tournament is being organised under the aegis of J&K Football Association (DFA, Jammu).
The 1st goal was secured by Uneeb in the 5th minute of game, while 2nd, 3rd and 4th goals were netted by Akif in the 7th, 53rd and 71st minute of the game.
Mayor JMC, Rajinder Sharma was chief guest of today’s match. He was accompanied by Gaurav Chopra (Corporator), Anil Masoom (Corporator & Vice President of Association), David Masih (NIS Coach & Vice President of the Association), Ashok Sharma (senior player), Yousaf Don (Org. secy.), Ramesh Chander (International player) and others.
Dheeraj Menia, Aman, Aman Sudan and Satnam Singh acted as referees during the match.Shaheen FC will lock horns with City Udhampur FC in the 2nd semi-finals at 2 pm tomorrow.
