JAMMU, Feb 17: The strong team of Jammu and Kashmir Bank today qualified for the semifinals of the ongoing 27th J&K Football Championship at twin venues of GGM Science College and Mini Stadium, Parade, here.
One of the title contenders, J&K Bank blanked Shaheen Football Club 9-0 to become first team to reach the last four stages of the competition.
Meanwhile, in another scheduled match, Young Rovers trounced Young Star FC by a solitary goal to make it to the quarterfinals stage.
This tournament is being organised by J&K Football Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council.
