J&K Bank thrashes J&K Forests XI by 7-0

SRINAGAR, July 18: Jammu and Kashmir Bank today thrashed Jammu and Kashmir Forests by 7-0 to make it a one-sided contest in a Premier Division match of the State Football League, organised by District Football Association (DFA Srinagar) under the banner of J&K Football Association (JKFA), here.
The professional side of J&K Bank dominated the field right from the beginning and made repeated attacks on the opponents goal post. It was in the 9th minute that Aakif brought in the first blood and within no time the lead went to 3-0.
The J&K Bank maintained the upper hand in the second half too adding four more goals to the tally making it a one-sided contest. Aakif scored two goals while Adnan added three. Other goals came through Danish and Waris.
Meanwhile, in other scheduled match at Polo Ground West, United FC got walkover Shining Star, while Eithad FC defeated Alijana ‘B’ FC by 4-1. In another match, Zabarwan FC defeated Kashmir Sign by a solitary goal.
