JAMMU, Jan 8: In the ongoing 18th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2024-25, J&K Bank XI delivered a dominant performance, defeating City Club Udhampur with a commanding 7-0 scoreline.
Akif was the standout player, scoring a hat-trick with goals in the 8th, 21st, and 28th minutes of the first half. Farhan added to the tally in the 14th minute, while Furqan Nabi found the back of the net in the 29th minute. Adnan Ayoub and Prem Kumar scored in the 65th and 89th minutes, respectively, to complete the comprehensive victory.
The match was graced by chief guest Yousaf Dar (International Player of SRTC), accompanied by other dignitaries including Ramesh Chander, Rakesh Kumar (both International Players), S. Satpal Singh (Manager Parade Ground), Yousaf Don (Organizing Secretary), David Masih (Football Coach), Rajesh Sumbria, Kamaljeet Kumar, Ashok Kumar (Ex. Corporator), Manav, Sebastin, and Charanpreet Singh. The match was officiated by referees Aman Banathia, Bilal, Satnam and Ricky.
