JAMMU, Nov 16: The contingents of J&K UT Baseball team will take part in 36th Senior National Baseball Championship which is scheduled to be held between November 23 to 27 at Sangrur, Punjab.
The team will proceed to Sangrur Punjab on 21 November, said Raju Sharma, president J&K Baseball Association.
The statement said the selection trials of J&K Baseball players held on November 15 through the selection committee under the chairmanship of Raju Sharma and members Farooq Ahmad, Gulzar Ahmad and Firdous Ahmad of JKBA while the screening of the teams have been conducted by the members of the J&K Sports Council at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar on November 16. President Raju Sharma in his concluding speech appreciated the selected athletes and J&K Sports Council for the timely support and cooperation.
