JAMMU, Jan 28: J&K Basketball team shall leave for 42nd Sub Junior National Basketball Championship scheduled to be held at Puducherry from February 2 to February 8, 2016.
The team was screened by the screening committee of the State Sports Council that included Rashid Ahmad, Krupali Patel and Joint Secretary Shiv Sharma.
Earlier, ten days coaching camp was conducted at Mini Stadium Parade, in which over 35 boys of different schools of Jammu and Srinagar participated.
The team was announced by the Secretary J&K Basketball Association, Dr Vikram Handa the previous day in the presence of SAI coaches Amarjit Singh and Aman Sharma.
The team: Devyanshu Pandey (Captain), Adarsh Yadav, Prashant Singh, Rakshit Sharma, Rajat Bhardwaj, Amarpreet Singh, Amandeep Singh, Ashish Kumar, Raghav Pratap Singh, Shubham Choudhary, Imaad Din Shah and Ahmad Assin Lone.
Sumit Dogra, Assistant Coach of the J&K Police central team will accompany the team as Coach.
