J&K beats AP by 10 wickets

JAMMU, Dec 19: Jammu and Kashmir thrashed Arunachal Pradesh by 10 wickets in the Men’s U-23 State-A Trophy at the Sector-10 BSP Cricket Stadium, Bhillai. Arunachal Pradesh were bowled out for just 63 runs, with Nabam Kama (19) and Tik Lee (17) as the only batters to reach double figures.
Kawal Preet Singh was the star for J&K, taking 6 wickets for just 9 runs in 6.5 overs. Sarvashish Singh supported with 3 wickets for 18 runs in 9 overs and Mujtaba Yousuf claimed 1 wicket, conceding only 1 run in 5 overs.
J&K chased down the target in just 5 overs, scoring 66 without losing a wicket. Qazi Junaid Masood was the top scorer, blasting 51 runs off 19 balls, including 3 fours and 6 sixes. Arya Thakur contributed 12 runs. J&K, with two wins, will next face Madhya Pradesh on December 21.
