JAMMU, Apr 16: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association is going to organize Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior and Master UT level Bench-Press and Deadlift Powerlifting Championship (Men &Women) equipped and unequipped at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat Kanji House on May 16, here.
The selected candidates of this championship will participate in the upcoming National Bench-Press & Deadlift Powerlifting Championship (equipped & unequipped) which is scheduled to be held at Hari Niwas Palace Jammu from July 16 to 18.
All the interested participants are invited for this championship. The bodyweight shall be taken on May 15 at RKM Gym Gandhi Nagar Jammu from 4 pm to 8 pm.
The championship will start at 10 am onwards.
It was decided in meeting which was held at office of the Association at here, wherein Rajan Jain (general secretary), Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar (secretary Kashmir), Hardeep Singh (joint secretary), Showqat Ali (joint secretary), Iqbal Singh (joint secretary) and Narinder Singh (Jammu secretary) along with other office bearers participated.
