J&K Blind Cricket team clinches Tri-Series

JAMMU, Dec 12: Jammu and Kashmir Blind Cricket team emerged champion in the Triangular T20 Cricket Tournament for blind at DAV School here today.
The three participating teams included J&K, Chandigarh and Punjab. J&K got the better of Chandigarh by a narrow margin of 7 runs in the finals to lift the trophy. It may be recalled that in the 6th edition of the Nagesh Trophy National T20 cricket tournament for the blind held in Jammu earlier, J&K topped the group by beating all the other three teams in the group. The group had 4 teams namely Punjab, J&K, Goa and Indian Railways.
“Emerging champion at Hoshiarpur and topping the group at Jammu is great news for the entire cricket fraternity. We are looking forward to get sponsorship to hold more and more events in future,” maintained Ajay Kumar, General Secretary, Cricket Association for Blind Jammu and Kashmir (CABJK)
