JAMMU, Mar 5: After winning 13 medals at the Mr. North India Championship 2024 in Ludhiana, the Jammu and Kashmir State Amateur Bodybuilding Association (JKSABBA) team has gained recognition for the Union Territory.
According to the officials, this is the first time that the Jammu and Kashmir Bodybuilding team has achieved such a high number of medals in a national-level competition.
The championship was organised on March 3 at Ludhiana. In a display of sheer dominance, the J&K bodybuilding contingent of Jammu & Kashmir State Amateur Bodybuilding Association clinched 13 medals including seven gold, six silver and one bronze medal in the competition.
The team of bodybuilders were Jatinder Singh, Rhubhal Sharma, Angrez Singh, Akshat Chawla, Abhi Sharma and Roop Singh exhibited exceptional prowess on the stage, bringing honour and glory to their Union Territory.
Upon their triumphant return to Jammu, the team was warmly received by Sahil Aggarwal, Chief Patron, Ajay Pargal Gupta Chairman and President Om Parkash of JKSABBA who commended the athletes for their outstanding performance and unwavering commitment to excellence. Rohit Verma, General Secretary of JKSABBA, who accompanied the team throughout the event. He said the success of athletes at Mr. North India Championship 2024 underscores the relentless pursuit of excellence and the indomitable spirit of Jammu & Kashmir’s bodybuilding fraternity.
