J&K Carrom Asso holds AGM, elects new office bearers

SRINAGAR, Dec 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM, at the Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, here today.
The meeting, presided over by President Adil Rashid Shah, welcomed all members and representatives from the affiliated district units of the Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association. President Shah highlighted the association’s achievements, including resolving key issues and expanding its reach to over 36 district units.
As per handout, the election of new office bearers was also conducted under the supervision of Musbat Ismail Wani, Deputy Legal Remembrancer, who served as the Returning Officer and Dr. Altaf ur Rehman, Director of Physical Education (Retd.) at Islamia College, Srinagar, who acted as an observer on behalf of the All India Carrom Federation.
The newly elected office bearers are: Adil Rashid Shah as President, Sameer Ahmad as senior vice president, Advocate Adfar Jan and Ahraz Bhat as vice presidents, Amandeep Singh and Sheikh Mohammad Saqib as joint secretaries, Mudasir Khan as General Secretary, Dawar Rashid Gadyari as Assistant Secretary, and Arif Sultan Khan as Treasurer. The Executive Members include Jagpal Singh (Jammu), Peer Musadiq (Pulwama), Irfan Majeed (Bandipora), Faizan Mehraj (Srinagar), and Farhan Malik (Srinagar). The Working Committee Members include the Carrom Associations from Srinagar, Baramulla, Bandipora, Jammu, Anantnag, and Pulwama districts.
