SRINAGAR, Jan 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association, under the “My Youth My Pride” initiative of the J&K Sports Council, is organizing District Carrom tournaments to promote sportsmanship and encourage youth participation. The tournaments will take place in three districts: Kupwara on January 15&16 at Indoor Stadium Handwara, Anantnag on January 17 & 18 at Indoor Stadium Bijbehara, and Shopian on January 21 & 22 at Indoor Stadium Batpora.
The event will feature categories for Cadet (Under 12 years), Sub-Junior (Under 14 years), Junior (Under 18 years), and Senior (Open category). All matches will follow the rules of the International Carrom Federation. Interested participants, including schools, institutions and individual players, can register by submitting their details such as name, parentage, date of birth, contact number, and institute name via email at jkcarrom@gmail.com.
