This victory carried great significance as J&K came back strongly after suffering from a heavy thrashing in the second outing of the tournament against Goa on the other day. Earlier, put into bat, J&K rode on magnificent batting display by talented top-order batter Chitra Singh Jamwal to score a good total of 188 runs in the stipulated 50 overs, losing 4 wickets in the process.
