J&K drubs CBSE by 29 runs in Tennis Ball Cricket Nationals

JAMMU, Jan 16: Jammu and Kashmir defeated CBSE in their opening match of the 61st National School Games Tennis Ball Cricket Championship, being played in Jharkhand, today.
Batting first, J&K scored 98 runs in the 9.4 overs. Umar Sofi was the top scorer with 98 runs, while Rustam Ali contributed 12 runs to the total.
In reply, CBSE bundled out for 69 runs, thus lost the match by 29 runs. Sachin top scored with 16 runs. For J&K, Suhaib Ashiq bagged 2 wickets, while Saqib, Umar Sofi and Rustam Ali claimed 1 wicket each.
J&K will lock horns with Uttar Pradesh in the next match tomorrow.
