JAMMU, Dec 22: Jammu and Kashmir beat Meghalaya in their second outing in the ongoing 70th senior national basketball championship at Ludhiana.
Meghalaya gave a tough resistence to JK men till the half time with winners trailing by 33-31 at the breather. In the third quarter, JK players reinforced their offense and played through their centres, who gave them baskets at crucial intervals.
Shubham Sharma excelled under the defensive boards to take give his team a consolation, while Amanjot and Iqbal Singh coordinated well in offense.
This was their second win in as many matches. J&K will meet Manipur on December 24, 2019 in their last league encounter.
