J&K drubs Punjab in Speedball Nationals

SAMBA, Feb 5: In the ongoing 60th National School Games in the discipline of Speedball Under-19 boys and girls, the finals of the Single, Double and Mixed Double were played today at 17 Miles, NH-IA in District Samba.
In Speedball Single boys, Sahil Januja of J&K beat Aryan Thakur of CBSE by 2-0 sets, while in Speedball Single girls, Prachi Bansal of CBSE trounced Rhea Tikku of J&K by 2-1 sets.
Similarly, in Speedball Mixed Double Under-19 years, Ankit and Monika of J&K defeated Sakshar and Nikita of CBSE by 2-1 sets. Likewise, C.B.S.E and Kerla got first and second positions in Relay Under-19 years respectively, while as Maharastra and Delhi got 3rd and 4th positions in Relay respectively.
The matches of Roll Ball Under-19 boys and girls were also played at Rajbagh in Kathua District.
In boys category, Delhi won by 4-1 goals from Rajasthan while Maharashtra won by 5-0 goals from Punjab. CBSE WSO won by 7-1 goals from Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh won by 4-0 goals from Vidya Bharti and Rajasthan won by 9-2 goals from Madhya Pardesh.
J&K beat Delhi by 4-1 goals, Maharashtra beat Gujarat by 6-0 goals, Chhatisgarh beats Punjab by 8-0 goals, J&K beatsVidya Bharti by 5-0 goals, Rajasthan beats Uttar Pardesh by 2-1 goals, Delhi beats Madhya Pardesh by 5-2 goals, CBSE WSO beats Punjab by 5-1 goals, Chhatisgarh beats Maharashtra by 2-1 goals and Delhi beats Uttar Pradesh by 1-0 goals.
Similarly, in Girls category, Rajasthan won by 3-1 goals from Tamil Nadu, J&K won by 8-0 goals from Vidya Bharti, Chhatisgarh won by 6-0 goals from Gujarat, Maharashtra won by 3-0 goals from Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan won by 3-0 goals from Madhya Pradesh, J&K won by 6-1 goals from Punjab, Chhatisgarh won by 8-0 goals from Vidya Bharti and Chhatisgarh won by 7-1 goals from Punjab.
The walkover was given to Gujarat against Vidya Bharti team in Rollball.
