JAMMU, Jan 27: Jammu and Kashmir emerged overall champion in the 6th Penchak Silat Federation Cup held recently at South Goa.
Around 800 athletes from different states of India participated in the Championship, which was organized for senior and junior categories (Boys and Girls). Penchak Silat Association of J&K also participated in the event.
J&K athletes Junail Akram, Palak Mehta, Akshit Pandoh and Bupinder won gold medals in the Championship while Devank Sharma, Sharan, Karan Wattal, Harivansh and Rahul bagged silver. Arnav, Shweta, Ridham and Wajid secured bronze medals.
