J&K to face Jackson Test in Vijay Hazare Trophy today

Excelsior Sports Correspondent
KALYANI (WB), Mar 3: Struggling Jammu and Kashmir will face promising middle-order batsman Sheldon Jackson test as it takes on almost equally balanced Saurashtra in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Group D match, here tomorrow.
While Saurashtra registered a convincing 92-run victory over Chhattisgarh today, Jammu and Kashmir suffered 4th consecutive defeat of the Tournament against strong Karnataka.
While Jammu and Kashmir batsmen have struggled throughout the tournament and displayed the poorest show in their match against Karnataka today, Saurashtra batsmen on the other hand made merry against Chhattisgarh bowlers, so they will be brimming with confidence against J&K.
Saurashtra possesses an international stuff in Sheldon Jackson and have the promising batsmen in Harvik Desai, Dharmendrasinhh Jadeja and wicketkeeper Snell Patel, while in bowling, the quartet of skipper Jaydev Unadkad, Prerak Mankad, Kushang Patel and Shaurya Sanandia.
Jammu and Kashmir will be dependant on their bowlers especially Mohd Mudhasir and skipper Parvez Rasool as most of their batsmen are out of sorts. One would expect a few changes in J&K’s playing XI. The likes of Vishwajeet Singh, Mehjoor Ali or Zahoor Sofi, who all are warming in the benches, may get a chance.
