JAMMU, Jan 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Fencing team sparkled by bagging third place in the All India Level 58th National School Games Fencing Championship held in Jalgaon in Maharashtra, recently.
In Under-17 boys individual sabre and epee events, Jammu and Kashmir won gold medal, while in Under-17 boys sabre team event, the State claimed bronze medal.
Meanwhile, in Under-17 girls, the State bagged three bronze medals to make way for overall third place in the Tournament.
The team was accompanied by Shifali Gupta as girls coach and Anthony Mattoo as boys coach.
