JAMMU, Mar 22: J&K Fencing team for 33rd Senior National Fencing Championship (Men & Women) has been screened at MA Stadium by the screening committee of J&K Sports Council, headed by Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, here today.
During the screening, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex and coaches of the Sports Council were present. The 33rd Senior National Fencing Championship scheduled to be held at Pune, Maharashtra from March 24 to 28.
Convener Adhoc Committee, Rashid Ahmed Choudhary and other officer bearers of the Association wished best of luck to the team for the said event. Shotu Lal Sharma and Rachna Jamwal will accompany the team as men’s and women’s Coach respectively, while Ranchan Sabarwal and Rahul Sharma will accompany the team as managers.
A total of 24 fencers including 12 girls will represent the UT in the National.

Tariq, Praney Singh, Poorvak Suri, Riya Bakshi, Suhani Singh, Ashu Rani, Mansi Sharma, Kritarthi Kotwal, Shreya Gupta, Ananya Sharma, Rishika Khajuria, Gazal Suri, Riya Manhas, Preeti Devi and Aditika Salmat.
