SRINAGAR, Oct 9: Registering splendid victories over their rivals, the J&K Forest XI and the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) B team advanced in the ongoing J&K Bank Football League Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association, here.
In the first match, JKP ‘B’ drubbed Shaheen Sports by six goals to two (6-2) in an easy contest. Mushtaq Ahmed scored hat-trick by netting goals in 3rd, 12th and 25th minute of the match, while Rohit Kumar, Manzoor Ahmed and Shabir Ahmed scored the remaining three goals for winners. For Shaheen Sports, Altaf and Umar were the goal scorers.
In another match, J&K Forest XI blanked Kashmir Mughals by four goals to nil (4-0), with Rizwan, Shahid Mushtaq, Taufeeq and Manzoor being the goal scorers.
