JAMMU, Nov 10: Dishika Mahajan, student of MV International School Samba and J&K UT girls’ topper in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET)-2021 has been honoured by former J&K Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad at MV International School Samba, here today.
She has obtained 700 marks out of 720 in the National level examination and clinched All India Rank-131 in open merit. This kind of result has been obtained for the first time in the history of District Samba.
Speaking on the occasion, former Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad congratulated the entire team of MV International School and her parents for working in coordination to help the child attain this rare achievement. He felicitated Dishika with bouquet and memento and motivated her to remain focused to achieve greater success in future.
The program was attended by Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman MV International School; Gourav Abrol, Director and School Principal, Kundan Lal Dogra along with the parents of the Dishika, Dr Rajesh Kumar Gupta and Dr Puneet Gupta.
It is pertinent to mention here that in class 12th (CBSE Result-2021), 13 students of MV International scored above 95 percent marks; while 20 students attained between 90 to 94 percents and 30 students stood between 80 to 89 percent marks, besides 42 students scored between 70 to 79 percent.
Chairman of School, Hira Lal Abrol shared that Dishika had scored 94.8 percent marks in CBSE examination and said that she will be a prodigious motivator for all upcoming students to obtain good scores in CBSE exam as well as entrance examinations.
