JAMMU, Mar 21: Jammu and Kashmir Golf Association held a meeting today to take measures for promoting the sport in nooks and corners of the State.
The members lauded the efforts and role of HQ Northern Command, under the leadership of Commander Lt Gen DS Hooda in bringing together the golfing fraternity and creating a bonhomie between the Civil and Defence Personal.
The Association members also expressed gratitude Lt Gen Parveen Bakshi, Lt Gen KH Singh, GOC 16 Corps, Gen NC Badhani and Major General B K Guha for their efforts in organizing the Army Commanders Cup 2015 smoothly and successfully.
Those who participated in the meeting included I B Singh, Vishal Abrol, Achal Sethi, Javed Khan, Daler Singh, Mohd Maqbool Shah and PS Dutt from Ministry of External Affairs Govt of India.
