JAMMU, Jan 9: For the smooth conduct of Khelo India Winter Games-2024, Union Territory Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted an Organising/Coordination Committee and Executive Committee led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo as its Chairpersons respectively.
As per the Government order issued here today, there were 14 members in the Organising/Coordination Committee are Chief Secretary, Secretary (Sports), Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, Home Department Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Director General of Police, J&K, Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports Department, Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, Administrative Secretary, Public Works(R&B) Department, Administrative Secretary, Disaster, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Department, J&K, Director General, Sports Authority of India, Director Khelo India, New Delhi, Director, Youth Services and Sports, Secretary, J&K Sports Council and Representative from Indian Olympic Association.
Apart from that there were 32 Executive Committee Members (EC) appointed by Union Territory Government for the smooth conduct of Khelo India Games headed by Chief Secretary as its Chairperson and Secretary (Sports), Ministry Government of India as Co-Chairperson.
The other members are Secretary (Sports), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, Director General of Police, Principal Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, Principal Secretary to the Government, Culture Department, Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports Department (Member Secretary), Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, J&K, Administrative Secretary, Public Works(R&B) Department, J&K, Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, J&K, Deputy Commissioner, District Budgam/ Baramulla (Member Secretary), Superintendent of Police, District Budgam/ Baramulla (Member Secretary), Director Information, J&K, Director Tourism, Kashmir, Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation, Director, Urban Local Bodies Kashmir, Director, Fire & Emergency Services, J&K, Director, Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Director Health Services, Kashmir, Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir, CEO, Gulmarg Development Authority, Representative from Sports Authority of India, Director Airport Authority of India, Srinagar, Deputy Director General, Doordarshan, J&K, Station Director, All India Radio, J&K Regional Director, Sports Authority of India, Representative from Indian Olympic Association, Representative from Winter Games Association of J&K, Gul Mustafa and Prominent Sportsperson.
The chairperson may co-opt any officer, resources person and consultant, eminent sportspersons in the committee.
