JAMMU, Mar 21: The Gymnastics Association of Jammu and Kashmir today finalised the teams for participation in the 16th National Aerobic Gymnastics (men and women) Championship, scheduled to be held at Gopalan Sports Centre, Bengaluru-Karnataka from March 25 to 27.
Vice president of Gymnastics Federation of India and president of Gymnastics Association of J&K, Kiran Wattal thanked Secretary Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul for the timely support rendered by her for the preparation of the team.
He along with general secretary GAJK, Ravinder Singh distributed the track suits and playing kit to the participants and wished them good luck for their performance in the National Championships.
Subsequently, the teams were screened by the committee of officials from the J&K Sports Council at New Gymnastics Hall, MA Stadium including Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh and Manager Satish Gupta in the presence of SP Singh, Manisha Gupta and Mitali.
Team: Yaadavi Mahajan, Sudipti Khanna, Parul Mehra, Gourav Chettri, Dhruv Dewan, Jaskaran Singh, Manvinder Singh, Kamal Singh Chib, Mayank Jain, Honey Mehra and Inderdeep Singh for senior category whereas in junior category, team members were Laksh Mahajan, Vikas Gupta, Suryansh and Peehu Mahajan and Mitali (State Awardee) will accompany the team as coach.
