JAMMU, Oct 13: 18-member J&K Hockey team left for Rutherpur in Uttrakhand to participate in the 2nd Sub Junior National Hockey Championship to be organized by Hockey India from October 15 to 20, 2012.
Before the team’s departure, Hockey J&K distributed track suits and uniforms among the players through chief guest Sachine Vasdev, 157 TA Bn at KK Hakhu Astroturf Stadium, Jammu.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Romal Singh, General Secretary Hockey J&K, VK Kohli, MS Reen, Tejinder Singh, Jaswant Singh, Rajinder Singh, Inderpal Singh, Daljit Singh, Raja Ram, GS Bakshi, Sham Lal, Taran Pal Singh and Pritam Singh.
The team: Prabjot Singh, Kushal Singh Jasrotia, Vishal Verma, Pushpinder Singh, Navleen Singh, Ishtyak Hussain, Jasvinder Singh, Manpreet Singh, Agandeep Singh, Sanjay Singh Jasrotia, Manpreet Singh, Ravijeet Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Balmeet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Vikrant Singh, Simranjeet Singh and Reebak Singh.
