JAMMU, Oct 12: Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, is all set to host three National events in Sports-Under-14 boys and girls Badminton Championship and Under-19 boys and girls championship in Roll Ball and Speed Ball, under the aegis of School Games Federation of India (SGFI) at Jammu.
The National Championship for U-14 boys and girls in Badminton will be held at Jammu from November 21-25. However, the other two mega sports events for U-19 boys and girls in Roll Ball and Speed Ball have been scheduled for the month of December at Jammu.
The dates for conducting the mega sports events were finalized in the meeting of officials of Youth Services and Sports Department under the chairmanship of Director General of the Department, Navin Agarwal.
