JAMMU, Feb 6: The Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, J&K Government is organizing 62nd National School Games in the disciplines of Cricket Under-17 Girls and Tennis Cricket Under-19 Boys and Girls from tomorrow, here.
The opening ceremony of the Championship will be held at MA Stadium at 11:30 am tomorrow.
Minister for IT, TE and Youth Services and Sports, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari will be the chief guest on the inaugural function, while Minister for Social Welfare, ARI &Trainings and Science and Technology, Sajad Gani Lone and Minister of State for Sports and Transport, Sunil Kumar Sharma will be the guests of honour.
As per the organizers over 20 States are expected to take part in this mega event.
“All the arrangements have been made with regard to boarding and lodging, transportation and venue facilities of the participating contingents,” said Director Sports, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed.
