JAMMU, Sept 8: The Jammu & Kashmir Junior National Hockey Team (Men) has been selected to compete in the 14th Hockey India Junior National Championship (Men) scheduled to be held in Jalandhar, Punjab from September 9 to 19.
The selection process took place today at the KK Hakku Hockey Stadium in Jammu under the supervision (Independent observer) of DIG Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
The selected team features a roster of promising young players: Maheshwar Sharma, Kunal, Pranveer Singh, Vanshu Mangotra, Krish Raina, Jotveer Singh, Avneet Singh, Tejpal Singh, Gamanpreet Singh, Arunpreet Singh, Zahid Shabir, Jagmeet Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, Masoom Ahmad, Damandeep Singh, Taranjot Singh, Malkit Singh and Karandeep Singh.
